Congratulations to our Elementary Kindness Kids of the Week!

Several of Mrs. Rozeboom’s Independent Floral Design students recently had the opportunity to attend a workshop at the Krueger Wholesale Florist Facility in Rothschild. While there they toured the warehouse and learned about the marketing of the fresh flowers and took part in a hands on class making several items including a linear arrangement and men’s pocket square. It was a tremendous learning experience!

The high school was happy to welcome our 8th graders for course introductions and tours today. The experience and information provided should prove to be helpful as they select and register for next year's courses. Even school psychologist Mr. Becker got involved in the action.

Thank you so much to the local businesses and SCC's ACP team for the partnership and tours today. In total, our 6-12 staff visited 7 different locations for tours. The learning that took place will help us to strengthen the skills that our students will need when they enter the workforce.

Today we wrap up this week's 6th grade Digital Citizenship online safety tips with a tip about preventing stolen identity. Thank you again students for your important safety tips!

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT FOR HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS:
Due to the recent school closures for hazardous weather, the high school will need to make up minutes to meet state requirements. In order to do so, we will be adding two virtual learning days to our schedule: this Friday, 2/21 and on Monday, 4/21.
To meet these requirements, students will log in to their Google Classrooms and complete work and activities that teachers have added. This work will help students to progress through their standards and provide remediation or enrichment if possible. Assignments and expectations will be relayed by your students’ teachers today.
We appreciate your flexibility and understanding as we know this is a late change.

Here is another online safety tip from the 6th grade Digital Citizenship class.
