BATTLE OF THE BOOKS
Battle of the Books is a reading incentive program. Students read books and then work together in groups to demonstrate their abilities and to test their knowledge of the books they've read.
Each year a list of books is complied. You, along with your teammates, are encouraged to read all the books and learn the titles and authors. In February you have the option of competing against schools from around the state to determine who knows the books best. But the winning isn't the point; the point is to read some great books and be able to talk about them with the people you know. Questions about BoB? Contact Mrs. Boeseneilers @ kboeseneilers@scc.k12.wi.us or Mrs. Dilcher @ adilcher@scc.k12.wi.us.

FFA
Learning to Do
Doing to Learn
Earning to Live
Living to Serve
These very few words are filled with depth and design for the future of our students and what the St. Croix Central can do for our community. The National FFA Organization is dedicated to making a positive difference in the lives of students by developing their potential for premier leadership, personal growth and career success through agricultural education. These members are not alone as we look back at past FFA members and where they are today.

FORENSICS
Forensics is a wonderful opportunity for our students to express themselves through theater, debate, and speech. Students are able to practice speaking to groups of people in a structured manner with a distinct purpose: to inform, to influence, or to entertain.
See one of the ELA teachers for more information!
NATIONAL HONOR SOCIETY
Juniors at SCC who have a 3.6 cumulative GPA or better are eligible for probationary membership in National Honor Society. Qualified students provide two semesters of service in addition to maintaining high standards in scholarship, leadership, and character. Primary service projects include the Red Cross Bloodmobile and GRASP tutoring at the middle school. Additional projects may include helping with events at the American Heritage Center and the St. Croix Electric Breakfast Meeting. In April, students write an essay in which they clarify how they have demonstrated the organization’s ideals. A faculty committee determines which students become full members of National Honor Society.
For more information please contact Mr. Kimberly.
