Students in Ms. Hawkins sewing class have been working hard bringing elementary student's imaginations to "life". Students in Ms. Demulling's 3rd grade and Ms. Schmidt's 4th grade classrooms drew pictures of monsters that the high school students turned into hand sewn creations. On Friday, high school students gifted the creations to the elementary students.

Unfortunately, due to the forecasted weather, our Mountain Movers will not be travelling to and competing in the state competition tomorrow. (The competition may be canceled later today.) That didn't stop SCC from continuing to celebrate our students with the state send-off that we had planned for them. Stay tuned for a special SCC competition being planned at Trollhaugen for these amazing athletes!

Our Gifted & Talented middle schoolers were "hanging around" during their trip to Illusion Museum, and also had an opportunity to challenge their thinking while surviving The Escape Game at the Mall of America in January. This month, some GT learners had an opportunity to build capacity for their social-emotional health, learn self-advocacy skills, how to deal with struggle/failure, and participate in mindful movement & relaxation activities during an event at CESA.
