The Hudson YMCA recently took 10 SCC Middle School Students to Model United Nations, hosted by the YMCA's Center for Youth Voice. Over 3 days, these students represented countries of their choice, to come together and solve world issues. They worked alongside over 800 other students from the surrounding area to discuss solving topics such as: Stopping Transnational Crime, Unequal Medicine Distribution, Cultural Preservation of Refugees, Arrival of Extra-Terrestrial Aliens and more!
These 10 SCC students were joined at the conference with SCC Alumni, Molly Diaz, who was serving as the Under Secretary General, the 2nd highest leadership role at the conference. Huge shout out to the following students for representing SCC Middle School: Emmie K., Eva D., Adalynn B., Dalton D., Levi D., Brooks H., Carter G., Aiden A., Noah F., and Mason U. They joined the Western Wisconsin Delegation to attend this conference, which also included students from Hudson, River Falls, and Spring Valley.
With St. Croix Central's Partnership with the YMCA in Hudson, students are able to attend this conference, and the Youth in Government Conference, for $200, which is over 50% off.

Huge thank you to all of those serving Hammond United Fire and Rescue! A special shout out to firefighters Chris and Sean for letting Mrs. Bunk’s crew take over the station for a little bit!

School librarians spend long hours keeping the library organized. They are also likely to be the first people to help students find the resources they need to learn. They also encourage students to pursue reading outside of academic texts. Thank you to our Library Media Specialist, Jennifer Franklin and to our Library Paras: Brandie Rolling, Emily Kenall & Amy Hueg for the hard work that you all put into our school's libraries.

Congrats to all the Scholar Athlete recipients in the Middle Border Conference and the our own winners, Payton Merth and Owen Wasley. It was an awesome experience hearing from the scholar athletes last night.
