Congratulations to 8th grader, Zelli M. for taking first place honors in the VFW Patriot's Pen essay competition this year. This year's theme was "How Are You Inspired By America?". An excerpt from Zelli's essay reads, "I feel honored to live in a country that has so much hope, honor, and ambition. To be inspired by your country is to take pride in and understand the sacrifices that the veterans, active soldiers, and common citizens make every single day to protect and defend our country."
Presenting Zelli with her certificate and check for $250 is Wendy Burnett. Zelli's winning essay will now go to the state level for competition. Congrats, Zelli!

SCC Unicyclists participated in New Richmond's Hometown Holidays parade on November 30th.


The High School Choir Holiday concert will take place Sunday night in the high school auditorium.
