The Hawkins family has been using their 3D printer at home to create face shields to send to hospitals in need. They inspired Mr. Wenzel and Mr. Millar to do the same with the 3D printers at the high school and the middle school. The 3D printers have been working day and night to help provide needed equipment to local hospitals as well as hospitals in areas hit hard by COVID-19. We are also producing surgical mask straps for hospital staff to prevent rubbing behind their ears while wearing masks. To wrap up our digital citizenship class in 6th grade, students tried to break into a lock box by solving clues about being safe & respectful online. Great way to review & practice teamwork!
