We are excited to be hosting a WIAA Regional Final match between our Conference Champion St. Croix Central Panthers and the Bloomer Blackhawks. Our match will be Saturday, October 24 at 7:00 pm. There are some admission changes due to the fact that this is a WIAA event.
Tickets are $6.00.
We will have a total of 168 tickets available for purchase. Tickets will be numbered 1-168.
The WIAA limit for roster size for our team is 15 players. These 15 players, determined by the coaching staff and coaches will be allotted 6 tickets per player that their family may purchase.
When purchasing the player allotted tickets, the player number will be recorded on the ticket as well as on our spectator sheet.
We will offer 60 tickets to our high school student body.
The name of the student will be recorded with their ticket number on our spectator sheet.
Tickets were sold after the game on Thursday 10/22, but we will have tickets for sale at the door on Saturday.

Dear SCC Families,
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic the USDA has announced that all students will be eligible for free breakfast and lunch regardless of family income through December 31st, or until funding is depleted. This is retroactive back to September 1st. All student accounts charged the last few days will be credited.
The free meals program does not include a la carte items.
Students will still use their accounts for tracking purposes.
It is very important that families still complete the free/reduced applications. The application can be found here.
Virtual learning students are also eligible. We are working on the details of how we will provide those meals and more information will follow in the coming days.

So many SMILES behind the masks over here at SCC Elementary! Feels so good to see kids back together. We want to thank our families for being patient and understanding with all the new changes...especially at the parent pick up line! It was 5 minutes faster today than yesterday. Hopefully we will just keep getting better!

Drop off went great this morning! Thank you!
We have several parents picking up this afternoon as well.
Please be patient with us until we get it all ironed out. Please know that there are two pick up locations. There will be supervisors at both and will call your child out. Please have your yellow card tag up in the window! Younger children can walk out with older siblings to street level.
Location for 4K-2nd Grade – car loop by front door
Location for 3rd-4th Grade – Eastside of Division Street
Keep the flow going by pulling all the way forward
Stay in your car
In order to help with congestion we are going to try staggered pick up times. We will change as needed.
If you are able, please try to pick up at the following times. If you cannot, please do what is best for your schedule!
PM PICK UP TIMES according to last names:
A-F 3:15pm
G-L 3:20pm
M-R 3:25pm

We all know the economy is tough, and I’m trying to spread the word about a federal grocery benefit
that a lot of people still haven’t claimed – and the deadline to apply is July 31 st !
Remember when schools closed down in the spring? Well, part of the federal government’s response
was the creation of a program to help families replace the missed school meals during school closures.
It’s called Pandemic-EBT (you can read about it here: https://www.dhs.wisconsin.gov/covid-
19/forwardhealth-foodshare.htm), and each eligible child is issued up to $324 in benefits for the months
of March-June. Many families got the benefit automatically – it was added to their FoodShare called
called “QUEST.” Others have had EBT cards mailed out to them. But tens of thousands of kids haven’t
gotten the benefit even though they are eligible. If your child would’ve received free or reduced-price
meals when the schools closed down, they are eligible for this benefit! If you haven’t gotten it, you have
to apply by July 31 st . You can apply here: https://bit.ly/P-EBT_APPLY
But you can also email or call Matt Stienstra at Hunger Task Force in Milwaukee if you have questions.

Good Day! I am excited to be able to share that we were able to get access to a Viewing of Screenages-Next Chapter.
Stress is a complicated and dynamic physical and emotional response a person may have as they interact with their circumstances. It is a subjective experience - what feels stressful on one day may feel easy the next, and what is stressful to one person might not be to another.
Furthermore, some amount of stress can be useful and increase productivity, where too much stress can be debilitating. Because of all these factors, identifying, measuring and treating stress can be challenging, but it is important to know that it is possible and necessary to learn how to manage stress.
Dear Parents, We hope this guide and movie helps with your talks with your tweens and teens about mental wellness. Consider having short weekly conversations on topics in the film such as stress resilience, emotional agility, and healthy screen habits. To View Screenagers-Next Chapter click the following link:

We HAVE water at the elementary school! Thank you to the many crews that have worked endless hours. Thank you to the families for your patience and understanding. We are looking forward to seeing all the kids tomorrow, Thursday, Feb. 27!!

We would like to thank you for your patience as workers continue to work hard to repair the water main break at the elementary school today. They are currently still out working and Unfortunately, they’ve run into further complications and the water is still not turned back on at the school. This means there will not be school for students again tomorrow, Wednesday, Feb. 26. There will not be 4K at the Trinity location as well in order to maintain consistency in our 4K Program. All Elementary staff will be asked to report to school as usual. Kids CARE will be open 6am -6pm and all details remain the same as today or any non-school day. Please contact Chelsy Strom via email to confirm placement at Kids CARE. Again, thank you for your understanding. We will share more tomorrow as we continue to correct this problem.

St. Croix Central Elementary School is closed Tuesday, February 25th due to a water main issue. 4th Grade Play Practice is also canceled. Middle and High Schools will have a regular day of classes and activities. Kids CARE will be open from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Thank you.
