The National FFA Organization (formerly Future Farmers of America) envisions a future in which all agricultural education students will discover their passion in life and build on that insight to chart the course for their educations, career and personal future! St. Croix Central FFA does TONS of stuff all throughout the year! 7th and 8th graders are encouraged to join now and begin preparing themselves for leadership roles in high school! There really is something for everyone. Social events, volunteering, fun trips to places like the Dells and Mall of America, camping and lots more. Our chapter loves coming up with fun and creative ideas and welcomes you to take part! You don't have to be a future farmer to take part in this awesome organization!
Join us! Contact one of the advisors, Mr. Bill Emery or Mrs. Gretchen Rozeboom for more information and for a membership form. Forms are also available in the Middle School office.

The SCC Middle School Jazz Band provides music students with the opportunity to explore various jazz styles (swing, blues, rock, funk, etc.) and techniques. Any 7th or 8th grade band student with at least one full year of experience is welcome to participate, regardless of what instrument they play. Additionally, student musicians who have had private lessons on guitar, bass, piano, or drum set may be able to be part of the ensemble – talk to Mrs. Hopkins! SCCMS Jazz Band rehearses Tuesday and Thursdays, 7:15 – 7:50 a.m., and the first rehearsal is Tuesday, September 30th. The Jazz Band performs at two concerts each year, as well as at ExtravaBANDza in February.
Forensics Website - Forensics offers public speaking, performance and presentation experience to interested 6th, 7th and 8th grade students. The purpose of middle school forensics is to build self-confidence and oral competency by developing and practicing fundamental public speaking skills. Approximately 30 SCCMS students perform at three local meets per year (Meets are usually at Eau Claire, Chippewa Falls, and Baldwin-Woodville.). Information meetings are typically held in December. Coaching typically begins in late December/early January and competitions take place in February and March. Interested and excited students should see Ms. Lombardo and Mrs. Buckel for more information.
Students from 5th-12th grade participate in this after school activity. There are two Middle School plays each year. For these plays, the Set Crew comes up with the designs and ideas for all the sets for each scene change. There is a lot of cooperation and creativity happening at all times. From designing and creating the sets, to helping change scenes during the show, it is amazing what this group of talented kids does behind the scenes to help make the final production a huge success. Set Crew is on most Tuesdays and Thursdays, after school, throughout the school year. Contact Ms. Dumond for more information if you would like to know more about it!
