SCC Elementary CARES!
CARES is part of our behavior program at the elementary. At the beginning of each month we have a celebration recognizing students you exemplified the trait we focused on during the previous month and introduce the new trait we will focus on for the next month.
On March 3, students were recognized for displaying empathy and kindness. All the students were then introduced to the traits of self control, our trait for March.
If you would like to watch the assembly. you can CLICK HERE to view on our SCC YouTube channel.
Vote for Heinbuch!
The second grade team needs your help! We have applied for a $2500 grant through the Thank America's Teachers program sponsored by Farmers Insurance. We nominated Hannah Heinbuch to receive the award but will be using the money to buy as many computers as we can for all the second grade classrooms. In order to get the grant we need to have lots of votes!
Please log on to the link below every day and vote for Hannah throughout the month of March. You can search by her last name and then click on her to vote. It will ask you to enter your email and then you have to click on a link in your email for the vote to count. It only takes a minute to do everything and you will get faster each time you vote!!! Thank you for your helping us get more resources for our students!!
The fourth grade students put on an amazing performance of "Go West" on February 16 for families and community members. If you missed the show, you can watch it and download a copy here.
Thanks to all the staff, parents, and volunteers for making this play a success!
