"Where Are They Now" - Interview Questions for St. Croix Central Newsletter

“Where Are They Now” is a monthly article that highlights St. Croix Central Alumni. Good candidates for this newsletter article are individuals who are doing something interesting in their communities, making a difference in the world, who have good advice for St. Croix Central students, and have made the SCC Community a better place. If you have a candidate, or if YOU are the candidate, please complete the form at the link below so the alumni can be featured in the SCC monthly newsletter. If you would like to create your own article which includes answers to the questions that would be ideal. We also ask that you email us a picture of the featured alumni. Please direct questions to Elaine Starck at

Fill out the form here.

Thank you for taking time to submit this information. Learning about past graduates is a great way to teach current students what opportunities are available to them if they believe in themselves and work hard! Based on the number of submissions, we will select alumni randomly and possibly highlight more than one alumni per newsletter.

SCC Alumni / Community Choir

voices needed

My name is Sara Route and I am the Director of the High School Choir at SCC.  Do you enjoy singing in a choir?  If your answer is yes, then I have a fun opportunity for you!

Last year, the SCC community voted to approve a referendum that will add an auditorium to our high school building.  What a wonderful space we’ll now have to serve our community!  A committee was created to determine how to involve the community in utilization of our beautiful auditorium.  The committee came up with the idea to create a community/alumni choir as a fun way to include a large number of people.

If you live in the SCC community or are an alumni please come join us!

The Inaugural Event will be March 24th at 7:00 p.m.  Rehearsals will be scheduled Sunday afternoons from 3:30 p.m.—5:00 p.m. Rehearsals are scheduled to begin on January 29th, giving us eight rehearsals prior to the Inaugural Event on March 24th.

Please contact me by email or phone in early January so I can send you the music selections.  Everyone learned how to be a choir member differently.  You can use whatever strategy you are comfortable with to learn your part of the music prior to the start of group rehearsals on January 29th.  With only eight rehearsals, it is important to come prepared knowing your part of the music.

This will be a fun event and I sincerely hope you consider joining us.  Please contact me by email at:, or by phone at: 715-796-5383 ext. 1107 with any questions, concerns, or song requests.

Hope to sing with you soon!
